About the Program

College: University College

Credits: 18 | One required core course (3 s.h.) + five additional courses (15 s.h.) from an approved list.

Requirements: All courses must be completed with a minimum 2.00 GPA

Eligibility: Open to current UI undergraduates in any major.

Coursework

The 18-semester-hour certificate combines a required introductory course with a flexible set of five electives drawn from multiple disciplines. These courses will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking needed to apply AI responsibly in your field.
